This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was unbeatable. The prices were extremely reasonable considering the amazing location by the lake in the Cairngorms National Park. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, always ready to answer any questions and offer assistance. Additionally, the basic amenities provided were more than sufficient, and the rooms had a different atmosphere depending on your preference, with mountain views from the windows that were simply breathtaking. Lastly, breakfast with a view that's none too shabby was the perfect way to start the day.
All was well, no improvements needed.

Two pillows . Everything (WC, shower, dining facilities) near the room. Breakfast. Staff was friendly and explained everything well
Toilets didn't flush everything. The view was moderate. Not enough parking. Women's shower and WC in one room

The breathtaking view of the Cairngorm Mountains and surroundings is truly impressive. the hostel is strategically situated near the mountains and it's so easy to walk over to the beautiful forests and enjoy nature at its best. the maps provided were helpful for hiking and we liked the fact that the bus service is affordable and reliable. the hostel has an excellent cafe with refreshing drinks and tasty cakes to cheer you up after a long day out.
Guests should note that the last bus leaves early, so if you're planning to stay out late, it's better to make other arrangements. the evening walk back to Glenmore can be quite tiring, especially after a long day of hiking.

The hostel is located in an amazing national park with beautiful mountain views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities included a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable and clean rooms, and nice meal options.
The hostel could improve by providing more plug sockets in the rooms and having better WiFi connection. breakfast could have been better for the price.

The hostel had two pillows on each bed, which made for a cozy night's sleep. The living room was also really inviting and comfy, perfect for chilling out. The location was great, with frequent buses passing by to take you into town. Plus, the restaurant had delicious and reasonably priced food.
The toilets and showers were closed off for cleaning from 10 to 11:30, which was a bit inconvenient if you needed them during that time. , not all the showers were good, but luckily they weren't too busy, so I was able to find one that was decent.
